/one is a personal operating system. This policy explains the limited information used to provide local capture and optional Google Calendar integration.
Information handled
- Captures, unfinished drafts, interface policies, and the last-known calendar view stored on your device.
- When you connect Google: your Google account identifier and email, calendar labels, event titles and timing, availability, and authorization tokens.
- Security records needed to issue sessions, prevent duplicate calendar writes, diagnose connection failures, and honor deletion requests.
How it is used
We use this information only to show your unified calendar, calculate availability, create holds you explicitly approve, maintain your selected settings, secure your account, and operate or improve those features. /one does not ingest Gmail message bodies.
Storage and sharing
Local captures remain on your device. Google access and refresh tokens remain encrypted on the server and are not placed in the app. Information is processed by Google when you authorize Calendar access and by the infrastructure providers used to run /one. We do not sell personal information, run behavioral advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Your control
You can revoke an individual Google connection or use “Delete account and data” in the app. Deletion removes owner-scoped connections, sessions, preferences, audit records, calendar-write records, local captures, drafts, and policies. /one also asks Google to revoke provider tokens; if Google cannot confirm, the app tells you so you can remove access in your Google Account.
Retention and security
Cloud records are retained while your live account is active and removed through the in-app deletion flow, except where temporary retention is required to secure the service or comply with law. We use encrypted transport, server-side token custody, scoped authorization, expiring sessions, and explicit confirmation for external writes. No system is perfectly secure.
Children and changes
/one is not directed to children under 13. Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with a new effective date before they apply.
